JOB DESCRIPTION
Manage and update project timelines and communicate with customers, suppliers, internal team members to deliver projects on time and within budget.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- Coordinate and implement projects from sales through engineering and manufacturing to completion at customer facility.
- Lead the interface between the customer and internal resources.
- Manage scope changes, document, and communicate to management and sales.
- Monitor and report on project performance and future forecasting of both time and material.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE::
- Should have a customer focus. Anticipating, meeting and/or exceeding customer needs, wants and expectations.
- Ability to create a project timeline based on content and overall lead time.
- Should be a strong decision maker. Use your discretion and act on it.
- Ability to communicate with management, team members, customers, and suppliers via both written and oral methods.
- A general mechanical and controls aptitude with the ability to envision machinery concepts.
- A general understanding of manufacturing and machining processes.
- Ability to understand a project’s schedule, and keep the project moving toward target milestones.
- Ability to adapt to changes in schedule especially during install.
- An understanding of the financial aspect of a project.
- Manage project documentation activities (manuals, PM schedules, spare parts).
- Coordinate the customer run off requirements, schedule, and incoming materials.
- Must be able to travel, both domestic and international.
- 5+ Years of experience required in a similar position.
- Bachelor’s degree in project management, engineering, or related technical field preferred.
